Ingredients:

Making the dough:

2 cups of general-purpose flour

0.5 teaspoons of salt

34 cup of hot water

When filling:

250gm of chicken Mince

1 finely chopped onion

1/2 cup of cabbage, chopped finely.

2 freshly sliced garlic cloves and 1/2 cup finely chopped carrot

1 teaspoon of ginger, grated

1 teaspoon of soy sauce

1 teaspoon Sesame oil

0.5 teaspoons of salt

1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions:

Combine the flour and salt in a bowl. Once you have a smooth and malleable dough, gently add the warm water and continue to knead. Put aside and cover with a wet cloth.

Combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, cabbage, carrot, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper in a separate bowl.

The dough should be rolled out into thin circles with a 3 inch diameter.

In the centre of each circle, place a spoonful of the chicken mixture.

Raise the circle's edges and begin to pleat it, being careful to seal the contents inside.

Put the momos in a steamer basket that has been lined with cabbage leaves or parchment paper.

The momos must steam for 10 to 12 minutes to be fully cooked.

Serve hot with your preferred dipping sauce or a hot tomato chutney.
