Ingredients:

250 gm paneer, cut into small cubes

1 onion, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped

1 red bell pepper, chopped

2-3 green chilies, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 inch ginger, grated

1 tablespoon tomato paste

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Chopped fresh cilantro / coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over high heat. Add the paneer cubes and fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the chopped onion, bell peppers, green chilies, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.

Add the tomato paste to the pan and stir well.

Add the cornstarch mixture to the pan and stir until the sauce thickens.

Add the fried paneer cubes to the pan and toss to coat with the sauce.

Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro / coriander  before serving.
