Ingredients:
A cup of poha (flattened rice)
1/2 onion, chopped finely
1 chopped green pepper
Peanuts, roasted, 14 cup
Turmeric powder, 1/4 teaspoon
Red chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon
Salt as desired
1 tablespoon of oil
12 teaspoon of mustard seeds
Some Fresh curry leaves
Instructions:
1) Rinse the poha for a minute under running water. Water should be drained and set aside.1
2 ) In a pan with hot oil, add mustard seeds. Add the curry leaves, sliced onions, and green chilies as soon as the mustard seeds begin to pop. The onions should be sautéed for one minute or until transparent.
3) Salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and toasted peanuts should all be added. Mix thoroughly.
4 ) Add the washed poha and gently toss until the spices are evenly distributed throughout. Cook on low heat for two to three minutes.
Serve hot and garnish with coriander leaves.
